Here we are with our little mama to be! We're so excited!
Abby and Mom take a painting class. Yes the peacocks are upside down. We had to paint the bottom last. We had such a fun day.
Daddy hard at work finishing the chair for the babies room.
The chair turned out great, much harder than anticipated.
The babies room is in the beginning of design construction. The chair is a good starting point!
Look at that baby bump!
Kellen making some delicious biscuits with fruit topping for breakfast.
The hard working power couple before we went out for dinner, thats where I left my camera, geez Pam!

Outfit catch up
I have started wearing maternity clothes to show off my bump, sounds crazy to me still.
The first outfit is a top my mom gave me to wear until it's too short and my new tweedy maternity pants. They are probably a size too big but they are comfy.
I tied a silk belt from Rach around my new smallest area, just so everything wasn't so loose.
I love how this look shoes off my bump!
I wore this outfit going to estate sales last weekend. These shorts are from Rach. She thought they looked too much like boxers but they are the only shorts I will wear in the summer. They are easy to fold over under the bump. I added the ruffle on this tank last summer. The tank top was $2 at Walmart. I bought a t-shirt for $2 to cut into the ruffles, easy peasy.
Another wrap dress. These are so easy, pregnant or not. They are comfortable and look good on every shape! And I got my hair cut! My mom came to visit and I was sooo sick of long hair. My short hair is easy and I even think my curls are coming back.
Kellen and I after work, exhausted.
That's all for now! Hopefully I will be crafting this weekend and posting some more!
Elvis Week
It's Elvis week in Memphis. I celebrated the King of Rock n Roll with my blue suede shoes.

Pickles and look who was on my camera!
Today I was doing some yard work and found all these little green tomatoes growing on a volunteer tomato plant in my mint! So instead of letting the chipmunks feast I picked them and found a pickled green tomato recipe in that old Ball Canning recipe book I have. Who knows what they will taste like but its worth a try. Seemed like alot of work for 1 quart but we will see. I must say they look pretty. I like canning. Then when I went to upload the pickles look who I found hiding in my camera? I forgot I even took pictures that day. Rach an Jeff look good and happy, we were having lunch at Fatheads on the southside, that was a fun day.

First maternity dress
I bought this fabric and was going to make a princess cut sheath dress for work before I found out I was pregnant. I rearranged the pattern a little, making the waist a little higher than my natural waist and made the skirt pleated.
I made the belt from some left over fabric. Since my bump is sitting quite low, I think I will be able to wear this for awhile! The collar went a little crazy. I tried to make the neckline a little lower and used non-bias tape to round the edge, probably a mistake. Looks kind of fun and ruffly though.Baby on the way!
Expected due date: Jan. 29, 2012
Can you believe it? I'm 15 weeks pregnant! Here's the bump as of last week. The first time I wore a fitted shirt and felt like I actually looked pregnant and not just chubby! Please ignore my hair, I don't know what's going on with it lately.
We are very excited and just can't wait until next year!
