The 30 for 30 Challenge seemed to take forever while it was happening, but now that it's complete, I kind of want to start again! Getting ready for work each day was super easy. All I had to do was throw something together from a minimum amount of items. This challenge has really encouraged me to limit my closet and my shopping to only items I really need and will wear A LOT. All of my skirts and dresses from the challenge I still really love, but now it's already summer in Memphis so we are moving to non-wool skirts! Here's all the outfits:
Total Wears:
Jeans - 8. I wore jeans a lot more than normal. On the weekends plus a whole week of training at work.
Turquoise dress - 1 (Surprising because I really like this dress)
Plaid dress: 2
Black dress - 2
Red dress - 2
Pink sweater - 4
White ruffle top - 1 (Unbelievable)
Bow skirt - 3. This is definitely my favorite skirt. It is the first skirt i made with a lining so it has a little sentimental value as well as being super cute.
Lavender skirt - 2. Not sure if I love this one. The ruffle is a little odd. I might try and re-make it a little next winter.
Blazer - 3. Actually liked the blazer more than I thought I would.
Dark grey cardigan - 3
Pink cardigan - 2
Grey flower cardigan - 4
Black tank - 4
Blue suede shoes - 4
Black calf height boots - 9. I should have included a more casual pair of shoes for the weekends. I had to wear these and wasn't very happy.
Lavender pumps - 6
Tall black boots - 11. I'm very happy with this purchase. I love these boots and think I will definitely be able to wear them for a couple years.
Plaid skirt
Teal top - 2
Tweed skirt - 2
Purple turtleneck - 2. Looking at the pictures I think I need to wear this color more often.
Flannel - 1. I wore this a lot in the fall before 30 for 30 so think I got all the wear out of it. Plus, I only had dressier shoes to go with it.
Teal ruffle top - 3
White cardigan - 5
White button down - 2. Still hate button downs.
White t shirt - 1
Black cardigan - 1
Coral skirt - 2
Purple skirt - 2
Overall I think the 30 for 30 is a fun challenge. I think I could have gone longer without repeating outfits but it was nice to get back to all my other clothes, especially shoes. In the next challenge I would definitely think about the weekends a little more but the work clothes were pretty perfect. I might start a challenge for the summer in a couple weeks. Hopefully I will get back into the habit of posting every day or so!

Day Thirty!
Wow this has taken me forever to post my last outfit! I really did finish in right around 30 days, maybe a little longer because of weekends, but pretty good. Next will be the sum up post. So we'll get right to the 30th outfit.
Do I look a little excited to be done?
I can't believe I hadn't worn this outfit sooner. It's definitely one of my favorites now. With or without tights it can move from season to season.
What I wore:
Black dress
Grey cardigan
Black belt
Blue suede shoes

Easter Sunday missing our girls

Good Friday in the burgh
Yes my lettuce is growing even though our temps are still in the mid 30s at night.
I planted leaf and arugala lettuce and some onion sets. I think these are red onions.

At the top of the garden I planted a thin row of sweet onions, look hard you can kinda see them.
Daddy and me colored our eggs this morning and miss our little girls. I hate to complain but its just not the same without you both. At least you should know your both truly missed here. I miss your over dyed artistic approach to egg coloring!

Crown Smoking Jacket
Well here it is so far. Its way harder than it looks. I used the Simplicity pattern for the robe and shortened it. Hopefully it will resemble a very cool smoking jacket. I don't know, I'm worried the crown bottle bags won't really hold up but I guess its the idea, right? The red white and blue fabric is the lining fabric, hopefully the stabilizer that is so badly needed. The collar trim part, I'm making out of his flying scarves from the fighter days and he has to choose his favorites, I'll probably need three, so there will be added craziness. Then imagine some not all of his patches as well I guess embellishments! The patch dilemma is, your dad can't find his helmet bag with some of the patches he really likes, that are priceless! Well I hope this made you smile. What was
